Hard-nosed and witty, Gwen Porter was considered one of the best police detectives in the city until she punched out the mayor's son for sexually harassing her. As punishment, Detective Porter is banished to "Miscellaneous Investigations," the long-forgotten department that once investigated cases of supernatural or unexplained origin. Teamed with Detective Brendon Womack, a flashy pretty boy, who asked to be assigned just for kicks, Gwen and Brendon try and put their many difference aside to solve a string of murders involving normally-reserved people losing their inhibitions. Who may have been bitten by a werewolf.
AtroCity Patrol City "Wolf? Where? Season 1 Episode 1" edition by Lanny Grant Literature Fiction eBooks
The series itself is written a lot like a script. Grant doesn't spend much time going into long winded detail about the world but throws the reader into every scene quickly. The dialogue is quick and sharp as well. Anyone that enjoys a fast read that entertains with this genre in mind should give AtroCity a try.I can't judge the story itself much because it's only the first part. The characters are solid thus far and Grant takes a rather worn out genre and begins to build something more fun around it. I liked how he spent some time thinking about throwaway characters rather than all the focus being on the two main leads. Normally, most writers focus on the heavies more and really avoid talking about the victims. You actually feel bad for the victims in this book. Well, almost all the victims.
The foundation has been set and let's see where the writer takes us. Think of it as Grimm or Being Human but not as serious.

AtroCity Patrol City "Wolf? Where? Season 1 Episode 1" edition by Lanny Grant Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was a very well written story. I really enjoyed the read. I will be watching for more from this author, Lanny Grant
I thought it was interesting, interesting enough to keep ME reading! That says a lot.
I seriously can't wait to read the next "Bookisode" !
Hats off to the new writer Lanny Grant! You have a knack of a sort of "Thrilogy?" (I hope there's many more to come!)
Loved it cant wait for second one to come out. Very good plot and interesting characters. Looking forward to reading more!!!
This story is like a tv episode--short, compact, to-the-point.
Snappy writing. Good characterization. The main characters have a good rapport
Really cool concept, like reading an episode of X Files, but doesn't read like a script. A television series in book form, Grant is blazing a path. Looking forward to the next episode!
